
Anh-Minh Phan
Board Member
Anh-Minh is one of the board members for Bella’s Legacy. She has been skating for two years and is coached by Isobel Carney, our president.
Outside of Bella’s Legacy, Anh-Minh is a college freshman pursuing economics and biomedical engineering. She has always been very passionate about helping others in any way that she can. Anh-Minh was the president of her high school’s Key Club, an international, student-led service club. Anh-Minh has had lots of experience planning and hosting community events.

Tarin Santos
Board Member
Tarin is one of the board members for Bella’s Legacy. She is a multi-faceted creative who appreciates the expressions of people’s hearts through any medium.
Outside of Bella’s Legacy, Tarin is a recent University of Portland history graduate who plans on pursuing a masters in Library Science and Archiving. She is also a novelist, who spends a majority of her free time writing imaginative and inclusive worlds. Tarin is also incredibly passionate about uplifting the voices and stories of those who may not be able to themselves.
“I can think of no better way to do that than with Bella’s Legacy. Having loved ones dealing with cardiovascular complications, I am a strong advocate for the advancement of research to help thousands around the world. I am incredibly grateful to be apart of this wonderful cause. I hope to share Bella’s story of compassion with all who will listen. Together, let’s save lives.”

Julia Rodman
Board Member
Julia is one of the board members for Bella’s Legacy. She is a recent addition to the adult skating world and is coached by our founder’s mother, Sarah Carney.
Outside of Bella’s Legacy, Julia graduated from Central Connecticut State University with a BA in English. She has always been passionate about telling stories in ways that inspire and make an impact. A lifelong lover of the arts, Julia has played piano since the age of five and believes music, like writing, is another powerful way to share a story and connect with others.
“I feel incredibly grateful to be part of Bella’s Legacy. It is clear from the love and admiration shared by those around her that Bella has touched countless lives in the most meaningful ways. I am honored to be part of a community driven to fund life-saving cardiovascular research and to support those living with heart conditions. I look forward to telling Bella’s story and ensuring that her spirit continues to make an impact on many more lives in the future.”

Julia Hardesty
Board Member
Julia is one of the board members for Bella’s Legacy. She is currently an Adult Silver level figure skater based in CT. She is coached by Sarah Carney, our president Isobel’s mother.
Outside of Bella’s Legacy, Julia is a pediatric nurse at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center on their Integrated Care Medical/Psychiatric unit . She attended Sacred Heart University and competed on their intercollegiate figure skating team. Julia also teaches learn to skate classes and has a figure skating dress business!
She have always been passionate about helping others and raising awareness for causes that impact those close to her.
